When i started playing EVE Online several years ago, there was only a hand full of tools about the game out there.
Then CCP Introduced the API, and more and more tools, as well as a community of quite dedicated 3rd party developers
started growing.
Today we have a world full of more or lesser usefull tools, from libraries to access the API,
over Killboards, EFT, EveMon, Libraries to integrate the API to Forums, Voice-Comms, Jabber, up to funny Apps that
make us small badges showing the World that we are Internet Spaceship Pilots.
However, if you are looking for a specific App, or you just want to browse, you end up either at the Technology Center Forums on eveonline.com, or on evelopedia - both excellent resources, but both not exactly a software catalog. And thats exactly the hole that 3rdPartyEve.net is supposed to fill - a page where you can browse for software and services that you might need and that you maybe didn't even know existed, to enhance your EVE experience.
Its also meant as a place for people offering a service, or a software, that dont want to constantly bump their threads to not end up at page 20 of a forum full with questions about how stuff works.
No matter if user or developer, i hope this site enables you to find what you search, so enjoy your stay.
best regards,
Peter "Peter Powers" Petermann
